3 years ago I desperately tried to become an influencer, because I thought that was the ONLY way I could get paid by brands and eventually leave my job. With only 900 followers to show for it and not a brand collab in sight, I realised I had failed. Instead of giving up, I made a portfolio and started pitching brands and to my biggest surprise 5 brands responded saying they would love to work with me. That month I made $10,102 and I never looked back.
My story
In my late 20’s I spent most of my time working as a food photography assistant where I learned all I know about photography & creating content. One day I felt confident enough to leave my 9-5 and pursue my carrier on my own, because I realized how I really wanted my life to look like, but as a person with multiple interest, I didn’t really know what business idea to go all in on.
Until I realised that what I needed to start with was not the business idea itself, but how I wanted my life to look like when my business was up, running and wildly successful.
A business that gives me the freedom to work wherever and whenever I want. A business where I can take slow mornings in bed and connect with likeminded girlies who just wants to build their dream life, while having fun. A business that defines the dream lifestyle I want, not where the business defines me. A business that isn’t narrowed down to one niche, but where I am the niche.
